This move has been years in the making. The Sox would like to welcome 2X HVNABA Cy Young winner Joe Redmond to the squad! For years Joe has shown interest in playing for the Sox but they did not want to take him off his current team. He was told if his team ever folds the Sox would love to have him. Well that time has finally come. After his Phillies team was disbanded after the 2021 season Joe had many offers from other top teams ( some very interesting ones to say the least...) but knew where he wanted to be all along. Joe brings a 30 - 13 record with a career era of 2.48, a whip of 1.17 and a oba of just .192. The addition of Redmond to the Sox pitching staff of  Dinardo, Merrill, Tompkins (and possibly one more arm coming) will put them in a terrific position each and every Sunday. Joe has done it all on the mound including Cy Youngs, no-hitters etc but has never won an HVNABA Championships... Welcome aboard Joe!
